ACLU Southern Legal Internship Conference Kick-off!

I am excited to begin my role as an intern in the ACLU’s Southern Legal Internship Program! The program, which partners with the National Black Law Students Association, brings together Black law students interested in pursuing civil rights work in the South and places them in various southern affiliate offices. 

Earlier this week the program kicked off in Richmond, Virginia and I had the opportunity to meet other southern affiliate interns, attorneys, and staff! I’m grateful to be a part of a team that values and supports Black leaders, and I am looking forward to my experience this summer with the ACLU of Kentucky!
